Our Customer wanted to laminate flooring tiles into sets to reduce site installation time and to ensure all the edges of the tiles were flush and free from lips and bevels. Laying individual flooring tiles is time consuming and expensive.  With volumes increasing our Client needed an effective and productive solution, to reduce labour costs and increase production. By creating pre matched and, laminated  sets, on the production line/in the factory, it greatly reduces site time and improves quality.  In addition tile edges may be lipped or burred from the cutting process, and a flat floor set is essential requiring the edges to be flattened. The Solution Using our standard Saxon™ laminator  we designed a machine with two sets of laminating rollers, the first to apply the films and the second set to flatten the edges of  the individual tiles .                                                                                                                                     Here the pre-assembled sets are fed into the laminator.                                                   Running it though the Laminator                                                                                              A set of tiles ready to ship and easy to lay.
