© Universal Laminators 2011 The competitive production of high pressure laminate has to be efficient, and our systems reduce labour and increase productivity. Where High Pressure laminates,  HPL, requires lamination to protect decorative surfaces our comprehensive range, of Industrial Laminators, which are also used as steel laminators, aluminium laminators, peel coat machines, film laminators which all basically do the same job of protective filming sheets of stainless steel, glass, aluminium, and many other board materials are ideally suited to High Pressure Laminates ( HPL). The automatic range of industrial Laminators, the Rapier uses the Micro-Cut film perforating system to pre cut the film before it is applied. This ensures a close trim of the film and guarantees that no knives or blades are near the High Pressure laminate surface.  Our engineers have designed and very successfully integrated filming systems for High Pressure Laminates (HPL) companies.  All of these are designed, in one way or another, to improve the efficiency and up-time of the production line, and often to reduce the manual labour involved. Our high speed lamination systems can be used to coat the decorative panels to protect them during handling and transport. New advances in cutting techniques, developed by Universal Laminators, means that these sheets can now be filmed at speeds of up to eight sheets every minute. Storage systems, coupled with pick & place stacker units can also be used for the storage and handling of press plates.
