© Universal Laminators 2011 Universal Laminator's engineers have developed a unique solution to allow the storage of press plates for High Pressure Laminates. The system utilises the LoadTower for high density storage, giving up to 21 tower levels and 56 tonnes of press plate storage capacity. Plates are paper interleaved and carefully stacked by the StackerBoss pick & place unit into a storage skid. Once a stack of plates is ready for storage, it is passed to the LoadTower and stored in one of the levels.   Retrieval times for the system are rapid, ensuring excellent response to demand. The system also ensures that there is no damage to the plates during storage, alleviates floor space concerns and gives reliable stock control. As a further option, the system can be supplied with a high speed lamination unit to apply a strippable film to the plates instead of paper interleaving. This further enhances the efficiency, reduces manpower and provides excellent protection.
